FACE Africa is a community development organization working to strengthen water, sanitation and hygiene infrastructure and services in rural communities across sub-Saharan Africa.

Our goal is to build resilient and healthy communities across sub-Saharan Africa, believing that no one should be prevented from the opportunity to thrive or realize their full potential due to lack of clean water or sanitation.

FACE Africa has been in operation in Liberia for the last 5 years providing water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services to remote, last-mile communities, more specifically in Rivercess County, one of the poorest and most marginalized counties in Liberia. In that time, we have been able to develop and refine an effective on-ground implementation program that focuses on community engagement, the establishment of community-based WASH Committees and post-implementation support services to ensure the continuing operation of our WASH projects. Since implementing this approach, we have achieved 100% sustainability in a region where most NGOs have been fortunate to achieve 60­-70%. To date, FACE Africa has constructed 40 community projects directly benefiting 20,000 rural Liberians with sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene services.
