Description
The mission of Lifeline Christian Mission is to meet physical needs while sharing the eternal hope of Christ Jesus, and engaging Christians to live out the Great Commission.
History
In 1980, Bob & Gretchen DeVoe founded Lifeline Christian Mission with the goal to minister to people spiritually and physically. Initially, the ministry began in Grand Goave, Haiti with a Christian church and school. As God opened doors, ministry work spread to more communities through churches and schools, health clinics, nutrition programs, disaster relief, children’s homes, and a home building ministry.
Six years later, through God’s leading, Lifeline’s ministry began in Honduras. The early ministry work included a church, school and radio program. As the work evolved, ministry opportunities grew to include more Christian churches, another Christian school, a children’s home for girls, and a health clinic.
