History
Founded in 1954 to promote the works of the highly popular theologian, William Barclay, Saint Andrew Press was launched with an immediate bestseller. Barclay’s series of commentaries on The New Testament have sold over 17 million copies around the world and they continue to be popular in their updated 21st-century format. Since then, Saint Andrew Press has developed a list of titles that aim to serve the Church of Scotland directly and also to represent the Church’s broad nature within society as a whole.
