Description
Victory Mission is a non-denominational, evangelical ministry sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through emergency and educational services that lead to long-term reconciliation, rehabilitation and re-entry into society.
Victory Mission provides a wide array of services to individuals and families in need 365 day a year. Their services include a food pantry, evening meals, and men’s lodging to their 12/12 Addictions Program, Victory Trade School, and other services Victory Mission provides in order to love their neighbors in Springfield, Missouri.
History
Victory Mission began in 1976 when Rev. and Mrs. Everett Cook started serving sandwiches and coffee from the back of their station wagon at the town square in Springfield, Missouri. They chose to show people love as they reached out with the Gospel to homeless men and women. Since then we have continued to reach out with the love of Jesus Christ to people who are hungry, homeless, hurting, and struggling to meet their family’s basic needs in Springfield and the Ozarks.
